Our team at Holistic OB/Gyn is lead by Paola A. Escobar MSN, CNM and our professional staff is prepared to oversee your obstetric and gynecological needs. And when needed we have the coverage of board-certified physicians to make sure you have the best possible care.
We have full staff privileges and deliver our babies at Hackensack University Hospital at Pascack Valley in Westwood, NJ and St. Mary's Hospital in Passaic, NJ. These hospitals offer quiet, private birthing rooms, aromatherapy, birthing balls, showers for labor. Water labor is an option for your birthing experience. Doulas and family are always welcomed. We also work closely with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department at Hackensack UMC at Pascack Valley Hospital for pregnancies with high risk factors.
Paola A. Escobar, MSN, CNM started her nursing career as a graduate of Rutgers University School of Nursing, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a minor in Women's Health and Sociology.
Paola has worked in a number of midwifery practices, including hospital, private settings, birthing center and clinics. After working in Maternity Units with Midwives in NJ and NYC as a nurse, she enrolled at Univerisity of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ and was awarded a Master of Science degree in Nursing and Midwifery certification.
Paola A. Escobar also holds a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management. She is an active member of the American College of Nurse-Midwives, a member of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals. She has been servicing Hudson, Passaic and Essex County since 1997. She is a proud mother of a daughter, Isabella.
Holistic Ob/Gyn benefits from the collaborative coverage of Charles G. Haddad, M.D., F.A.C.O.G, who is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a long time resident of Northern New Jersey, where he has been a leader in the women's healthcare and believes in the midwifery model of care.
Dr. Charles G. Haddad supports our practice being VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Delivery) friendly allowing for spontaneous labor and a "trial of labor after cesarean," (TOLAC). Other services are delivering twins vaginally, external cephalic versions, having women centered cesareans, high risk obstetrics all with the continued support of physician and midwife working collaboratively. Plus providing low cost infertility and intrauterine insemination...
